I am new to anesthesia coding. An epideral was given at time 1750-2206 for what was thought to be a vaginal delivery. Then at 2206-2338, anesthesia was given for cesarean delivery. I was condisering using 01961 along with 01967/01968. How is the time calculated in this case? 1750-2206 = 256min/15min = 18 units; 2206-2338 = 92min/15min =7 units. Can someone assist me in the best way to code this scenario?? Thank you in advance!!

01967 and 01968

You would have to code 01967 and 01968 due to the original intent was for vaginal delivery. 01961 is for c-section. And then just use the same times you used above for your start and stop times.
