The opthalmologist who comes into my nursing facility did a simple incision and drainage of a chalazion for the first time. I'm confused on which CPT code to use. I looked at 67800but the doctor didn't actually "excise" the chalazion (only drained it). Then I looked at 67700, blepharotomy, but is a chalazion also considered an abscess? My third choice was using 10060; incision and drainage simple cyst. Please submit your expert opinions...Thanks
