Do you charge for the fluid sodium chloride 0.9% (J2912) 2 ML IV premix for hydration IV? I'm in urgent care. This is usually given as 1000ML so that would be $500.00 for 1000ML. Is this right?

That code was deleted in 2007.
 
Thanks Missy, its still in our database. Didn't know it was deleted. Is there a code to replace it? Do you not code hydration fluid supply?
 
No, it does not have a HCPCS code, that I am aware of. When I worked at the hospital, I didnt code for it, because of that reason.
