I recently started working for a pediatric office and wanted to see if we were coding our sick and well visits correctly. My doctor did a well visit and she also had a uri and they they had a yes in the ros but that is the only thing that was really mentioned about the uri other than in the HPI and they only did supportive care for the uri and are wanting to charge the preventative medicine and a 99213 and I am not sure that it warrants a 99213 does anyone have any advice on this?
