At a hospital that I am at, we are running into a little issue lately. Seems that the oncology dept, which they own it is not separate or rented space by onc docs, are scheduling chemo procedures and followup visits on the same day.

So we are coding and charging for lets say 96413 and then a 99214-25 for the facility side. Is this correct coding and charging or should we not have a followup scheduled the same day as the chemo procedure?
