Can anyone please tell me how to correctly code for this scenario?
MD orders a CXR and Abdominal XR for an infant. This is done by using only one film because it captures both areas that need the x-rays. Radiologist dictates 2 separate reports - one for each view ordered. Since it is only done on ONE film, can we charge both the abdominal x-ray and the chest x-ray? Thanks for your help!
