Can they be billed for no shows?

In Texas a provider cannot bill for a no show for a member in the CHIP program. Check with your State CHIP program to see if they differ. Most CHIP program does not allow provider to bill for a no show.

Depends on your state. In Alaska, we're allowed to charge the patient as long as they are aware of the policy ahead of time.
