Our local Medicaid is stating that they need a diagnosis to show that the patient is pregnant. This is a new one to me. Would you use Z3491-93 to show what trimester the patient is in or is there another code that might work better. The chiropractor is NOT handling her pregnancy care. The DC is only treating a patient who is pregnant and needs chiropractic care to deal with her low back pain. I am so stumped on this one so thanks in advance to anyone who might have insight on this one
