Hi all, does anyone know if you performed both procedures 97140 & 97022 on same day...ncci states that 97140 is mutually exclusive to 97022 can we use a 59 mod on 97022 in order to get pymt of does a mod need to be on both????

I checked NCCI and 97140, 97022 can be billed together. I also ran them through my compliance checker and did not get an edit to either add a modifier or that they can't be billed and no modifier is allowed? This is with version 16.2.
