I am trying to find an appropriate Dx for our Dermatologist who follows Immunosuppressed pt's who are at risk of skin cancer. These pt's are Kidney transplant patients who take Medications that cause the Immunodeficiency. I have looked under Immunodeficiency with little luck and unsure what else to search under. The V42.0 code is a secondary code so not much help if the pt's skin exam is normal or without findings. We are not really treating the Immunodeficiency only wanting to list their status that does affect their care and describes the reason for the visit.

Any experts out there on this subject, I would greatly appreciate your help. Maybe we are taking the wrong approach?

Thanks much,
Christine Bekker
