Chronic alcoholic hepatitis ?

I'm having a disagreement with a fellow coder. She wants to use 571.40 for chronic alcoholic hepatitis (as worded by the physician). I say 571.1. Any thoughts? Thanks!
 
chronic alcoholic hepatitis

571.1 is for acute alcoholic hepatitis. 571.40 is chronic hepatitis unspecified. I would use 571.49 chronic hepatitis, other and use the appropriate alcoholism code.

Just my opinion.
