Has anyone billed Chronic Care Management 99490 to Medicare?
Can any specialty use this or is it for primary care? Can an M.A. perform the service?
We have some literature that states "patients will need to give written consent to participate and understand out-of-pocket costs".
We have an NP that would like to bill 99490 for telephone conversations held with a patient to discuss their two or more chronic conditions"
I just wondered if anyone had any insight into this service.
