Does anyone know who is considered "qualifying" Clinical staff for the CCM? I have been searching all over and cannot figure out who CMS considers Qualifying staff. :confused:
 
My employers utilizes nurse case managers for CCM....

per AAPC- Clinical staff can be any individual who is acting under the supervision of a provider, regardless of whether the individual is an employee, leased employee, or an independent contractor of the provider and meets any applicable requirements to provdies the services including licensure implosed by the State in whith the services are being furnished.
