Wiki Chronic depression

Can anyone direct me to the proper code for Chronic depression. This is what the provider documented. When I look in the code book under the main term Depression, there isn’t a sub term that states “Chronic” and the default code of F32.9 states acute. Would chronic depression be the same a major depression? Any guidance is much appreciated.

If you search "depression", chronic is a subentry it codes to F32.9

You're correct, there's no such entry in the official ICD-10 publication. The reference in the post above must be from a secondary source, but you can see from the 'CC4Q13' citation that this is taken from guidance given by the Coding Clinic publication.
