Wiki chronic total occlusion - PTCA help

Need help. Patient has 70% stenosis of Left Circumflex and 70% stenosis of 1st OM and 100% chronic total occlusion of Lateral 1st OM. Intervention was 1. stenting of Left Circumflex, 2. Atherectomy/Stenting 1st OM and 3. Atherectomy/Stenting of Lateral 1st OM. I was looking at C9600 and C9607 but was told it was incorrect? Any help would be appreciated.

For the CTO, I agree with the C9607 (92943 for the doctor). I would code C9603 for the atherectomy and stenting of OM (92934 for the doctor)

Hey,

I know that this question has already been answered but I wanted to included a question of my own, that would expand on this.


We have a Provider that is just saying that it's a CTO. He's not including the percentage of the findings. We can't charge the 92944 without that percentage, right?

CTO means Chronic Total Occlusion. The vessel is closed so there is no percentage. 92944 is an add-on code, so do you have a primary code?
