Does anyone have any feedback about the CIRCC examination? I took the exam and was surprised by how many other non-related Cardiothoracic procedures were on the test. CIRCC Certified Interventional Radiology Cardiothoracic Coder.
 
Hi ! No one ever answered I guess :( Isnt the exam only 10% actually cardio? Think thats what the dr z prep said. Im sitting for it next month and am scared to death! Did you pass? Take care!!
 
Hi, I have been thinking about taking the CIRCC, but I am a cardiology coder as well as cardiac surgeon coder. I do know that the CIRCC does NOT stand for cardiothoacic, it stands for cardiovascular. Here is what CIRCC stands for: CIRCC® (Certified Interventional Radiology Cardiovascular Coder) credential.

CCVTC is the cardiovascular and thoracic specialty certification.
