When a patient is given several IV injections (pushes) of different meds in a short amount of time -less than 15 minutes- how is this coded? I have always coded them in this way;
Initial IVP- 96374 and all the following IVPs with 96375. I am being given the instruction to code 96375 once if the new meds are documented as given at the same time rather than 96375 for each drug given. I see no time instruction in the CPT description. What is the correct way to code multiple IVPs of different drugs documented as given at the same time?
