Hi,

Can anyone please help me with clear documentaion to code the CPT code 97602 (non - selective debridement and Selective dedridement (97597)

Below i am giving some examples , kindly tell me whether this documentation is anough to code 97602 or 97597

ex 1 - The wound was cleaned with NS and Hibiclens.Lidocaine 5% ointment applied then sharply debrided and recleansed. Santyl applied followed by Telfa then c0ompressed hose applied -Please tell me whether we can code 97602 for the above procedure description.


ex 2. wound was cleaned with NS and Hibiclens. I debrided callus material onn the right with a 15 blade.Santyl applied followed by Telfa then c0ompressed hose - whether we can code 97602 for the above procedure description
