We are a nursing home facility that is part of a clinical study for the Fluzone High Dose. The medication was FREE to us for conducting the study. With that said.

How and what do I bill Medicare B? I am thinking Q2038 with the G0008. Do I use any modifer to state this is part of a Clinical Study? Q1? Do I not bill for the medication because it was free?

We have conflicting information and I just want to set it straight.
