I have a question, I'm trying to find something in writing so I can have an Edit corrected for anesthesia claims. I have some claims that the edit is stating the Q0,Q1 modifiers are invalid anesthesia modifiers. I also have a couple of claims that the edit is stating that these modifiers are required. These are for a clinical trial. I have been told by several people that these modifiers are not required by Anesthesia because whether it was a clinical trial or not anesthesia services would be provided and they aren't specifically part of the trial.

I am having a difficult finding something specific to this stating these modifiers are required for anesthesia or not.

HELP!!!
