I just want to be clear that we can no longer charge for the placement of a closure device in 2011 when an intervention is performed. According to CPT guidelines this is now included in the intervention. Is this correct?

Closure device placement at the vascular access site is inherent to the catheterization procedure and NOT separately reportable.
