Can you still keep a copay if an office visit was never billed to the insurance company in error?

Good question. This will probably be based on the language within your contract with the carrier but my initial thought is "no". Many plans have a filing limit and if that filing limit is not adhered to (without a valid cause), then the provider is responsible for those charges (in most cases). I would check with your carrier to be on the safe side.
