I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find in writting where it states that both Co-Surgeons MUST dictate their own OR Report.

I just attended a seminar in Flint and I think the presentor referenced the cms guidelines for co surgeons dictating their own operative reports, I don't bill any co surgeons op reports so I didn't write it down, just made a mental note of it and thats not always a good thing but its the best I got.....also check wps web site too, but I'm almost positive
someone asked and that and that was the answer . Good luck.
 
Like Orthobiller, my last seminar (compliance update for GI) the consultant stated each needed their own op note. I also looked this up a few months back and a coding alert our office is subscribed to states the same, but I couldn't find any official references.

If I come across any, I'll be sure to post.
