I will be taking my COBGC soon. I am wondering if anyone can provide any information/tips/tricks to aid in taking the exam. Also, any recommendations for the reference of your choice to bring?
 
I sat for/passed the COBGC exam in August 2016. I took some small page markers and when I came to one of the "lovely" complicated Gyne surgeries or other questions that would take a lot of time to read/code, I marked them. At the end, I came back to those pages and worked through them. You have probably read that before but for the Gynecologic portion with the "acronym infested" op notes, it helped. Finding a list of those Names/Procedures during the studying helps a lot as well. Best wishes for your success. Bob
