I am looking for an entry-level coding position either in person or remote and am especially interested in coding for ED, ASC, hospital outpatient and multi-specialty clinics. I am not interested in doing reception or front desk work.
I earned my COC-A in Sep 2022 after completing AAPC's COC Facility Outpatient Coder course and earned my CPC-A in May 2023 after completing the Medical Billing & Coding program at Austin Community College in Dec 2022.
(My medical experience: years ago, I worked PT for 4 years at the front-desk for an internist , subspecialty cardiology, office; temped at the front desk of the Infectious Diseases dept at a large hospital; and held a summer position in the credentialing dept of a large county healthcare county clinic.)
