I have a question about Code 95017 (combination of prick and intradermal for testing with venoms). My physician is saying the normal full panel is 25 and she has been told that the controls are not counted. Do you count the controls (Saline & Histamine) in this test. When I add the panel plus the 2 controls I get 27. Could someone please help me as I am relatively new to this specialty and I appreciate all the education I can get.
 
You are not counting pricks and intradermals at all.. You are counting the number of insects you are testing too (hornet,wasp, fire ant, honey bee) would be 4.
