Discussion question:
I think we agree:CMS and other regs/payers allow MDs to use a device, e.g. biliary stents, off-label when is patient' best interest and standard of care for the specialty. ? is should the physician code for the procedure, e.g. 37226 for femoral artery stenting? It is my opinion that every procedure done should be coded regardless of expectation of reimbursement. Do you agree?
