What code can I use for Impatient discharge?
 
99238-99239 for hospital discharge services - only to be billed by admitting physician/group or if a transfer of care has occurred. Same day admission & discharge then 99234-99236. If a physician other than the admitting is doing the discharge then bill a hospital f/u code as appropriate.
