FQHC MEDICAL CODER
The FQHC Medical Coder is an experienced clinical billing and ICD-10 coding professional that supports the agency’s financial health and overall mission. As part of the MIS department, this role will provide critical coding functionality to our EMR and billing systems, helping to ensure an effective and efficient process for data input and financial reimbursement. The role will create and implement a process by which all medical providers notes and diagnoses are audited for proper coding. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and at least two years of experience in a health care setting. CPC (Certified Professional Coder), CCA (Certified Coding Associate), or other coding certification required. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of medical terminology, diagnoses, procedures and associated codes. Location: Downtown.
