I'm an new ER coder in a critical access hospital. We've just started coding our charts in-house rather than sending them to an outside vendor. I code all aspects of the visit except for the facility E&M (Dx, procedure and professional E&M). We're attempting to set up criteria to measure productivity and I wondered if I could get some input from my fellow coders as to the number of charts that should be coded per day.
Appreciate the help.
