Hello,
I'm coding for an Orthopedics Office and was just wondering if anyone can tell me about code M43.2- for Spinal (Acquired) Fusion NEC.
There is an Excludes 1 note stating anklyosis spondylitis (M45.0-) and congenital fusion of spine Q76.4-
Excludes 2 is Arthrodesis Status Z98.1 and Pseudoarthrosis after fusion or arthrodesis M96.0.
Do the M43.2- codes go with the Z98.1 or the M96.0 and are they for children or adult acquired?
