In the beginning of the Integumentary section there is an illustration of a skin part and it seems that the subcutaneous part of the skin should be considered as a part of integumentary system. My question is, if this concept is correct why codes which is related to the excision of a tumor from the subcutaneous part are mentioned in the surgery sections for example the code;
25075 Excision, tumor, soft tissue of forearm and /or wrist area, subcutaneous; less than 3 cm
Thanks

No, for use of these codes, the location of the tumor should be confined to below the skin and below the superficial fascia.
