If a non-physician professional administers an injection, should this be coded with 99211 or 96372? Would appreciate input. Have read diverse opinions.
 
An IM or SQ injection is coded as 96372. 99211 is an evaluation and management service, not an injection. Whether it's done by a physician or a non-physician is not relevant - the coding is the same.
