Please advise: I am being pressured to code and bill outpatient procedures without physician signatures. What is my liability in doing this?

Thanks, RDK720; that is what I thought. I have been working at this practice since January. The providers submit a paper charge form to the billing office and these have been billed as directed by the provider without even looking at the chart. Generally, the office visits are signed and the inpatient surgery reports are signed but not the outpatient surgeries. These are only dictated and transcribed.
