Wiki coding application of a cast

If a physician does not perform the application of a cast, the nurses actual did the application, can you charge for the casting or not. (i.e. CPT 29405) This is done at a clinic setting not ER. I have never charged before but our new orthopedic wants to charge for the professional service because he supervised.
