Hi! My name is Megan Thrift and I work for New Horizon Family Health Services, Inc. as a Quality Management Specialist. It is my job to audit the coding staff, however, I have had issues doing so since we switched to EHR. My question is how do you guys currently audit your staff? Before, we used the ABC method of auditing, but I do not see how we could accurately use that method with the providers entering and sending the charges over. Our compliance committee has requested these audits be done monthly rather than twice a year, so I am reaching out! Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thank you in advance for your help !
