Reposting in the general forum as I have not yet received any response from the pediatric forum..

What hcps code do pediatricians use when giving this drug in oral liquid form for croup? Would J3490 be appropriate when 4mg/cc by mouth is given by doctor that administered 1.5ml?

I am asking in behalf of my employer as I'm totally unfamiliar with billing this code. Would J8540 be appropriate? And in this particular case what would be the correct amount of units to bill?
