I am looking for help coding a cataract surgery that one of my providers performed with the use of Miochol-E. The Miochol_E was instilled at the end of the case (after lens was implanted) to contract the pupil. I've read Medicare's LCD and it clearly defines a complex cataract surgery as cataract surgery with another ophthalmological intervention (the need to employ devices or techniques not generally used in routine cases). Please send your guidance as it is much appreciated!
