I know I have seen a thread or two regarding this question but are there any guidelines or guidance on how to or not to bill for comparison radiology films.
For example one ankle xray done on the injured foot and another done on the non injured foot because the doc wants to compare.
I know the question arises as to what dx will you put on the non injured foot since it is not correct to put that injury dx on it.
What I really need is some hard-copy something to bring to the providers. Has the ACR said anything on this?
