Hi,
I am new to ASC coding, and need all the help I can get. Does anyone recommend a newbie to attend either the Coding Con in Florida December 2011 or the ASCA Coding Seminar also DEcember 2011 in Vegas- seems as though both have the same speakers but each agenda is slightly different. Will I be totally lost since I have no ASC coding experience yet? Is anyone familiar with the speakers: Christina Bentin or JoannSchade-Boyce?

Hi Ellie,
Both Christina Bentin and JoannSchade-Boyce are a wealth of information regarding ASC coding/billing. I think you need to look over the agendas for both seminars and see which one works for you. It seems the Orlando ASC agenda is set up better to where you can get all the info needed in one room without sacraficing a session like the Las Vegas agenda. This is just my opinion.
