I bill for hospitalist and came across a note that in the HPI he states the patient is 83 when the patient is actually 57. should I still bill this to insurance or wait for the corrected addendum? The hostpitalist does not agree to hold billing until correction has been made.

You need to have the documentation revised before you send the bill.
