Wiki Coding for a negative lab test

I work in a doctor's Dermatology office and I patients come in sometimes and get a DTM done to determine if they have Tinea..
But.. When the lab comes back as negative for Tinea.. what do I list as the diagnosis for the test? do I list symptoms as diagnoses for the test?
 
You're correct, you should indeed code the signs and symptoms the patient exhibited leading the doctor perform the test if that test later comes back negative.
