Hello, My surgeon specializes in Endometriosis and many times when he does a Laparoscopic Hysterectomy with Endometriosis fulguration/excision, he will also test for Interstitial cystitis with Hydrodistention (52260)- often with a negative finding for IC. My question is- can we bill for 52260 in this case, and if so-how do we get it covered? I have been advised to code for 52000, however that bundles with the Hysterectomy. Advise/Help with resources, pretty please! Thank you in advance!
