I am a CPC and my billing company is considering contracting with a local substance abuse inpatient facility. I am being asked to research this and possibly take on the coding.

Any ideas on a good cross-over education guide? Of course I already have my knowledge in CPT, ICD-9, HCPCS and physician coding theory...but I am not familiar with the inpatient coding forms, codes, etc.

Does anyone know of a good textbook that will educate me on this? :eek:
