I work in an internal med office. We recently had a NP join our group. She is now doing our paps. Here is the scenario: Pt come in to see their PCP for their wellness exam. At that visit the PCP referrs to the NP for the gyny (pap) part of the exam. Pt returns a week or so later for the gyny...how should I bill for these two exams????
