The ob/gyn practice that I work for codes for para-cerivcal blocks using 01991 when performing CPT code 58563(hysteroscopy, w/endometrial ablation). Per the MCR guidelines it states that the para cerivical block CPT code 64435 is included. My question is should they be using the 01991 when performing the 58563, I'm thinking it should not but just need some reaffriming on this.
