We have a GYN form that has checkmarks next to the screen to be done and sometimes I cant figure out which exam to code.
I have low risk screen and then checked cervix endocervix and vagina.
Would I code the screening for malignant neoplasm of cervix and the pap code V7231
and screening of neoplasm of vagina?
The form also has the Thin Prep w/reflex HPV typing.
There are no diagnoses codes on these forms so there has been a lot of confusion.
Any assistance appreciated
