Coding help for hearing tests - medically necessary and not medically necessary

I need some help on how to code audiometric evaluations for both medically necessary and not medically necessary. For both I have been using 92557 but in box 19 on the HCFA form if it is not medically necessary we put "testing for hearing aid". I'm being told from insurance companies that 92557 is not the code to use for non medically necessary tests but not sure what code to use. It doesn't specify in the CPT book. Our providers do the same type of test whether it is for a hearing aid or not. Please help!
