Wiki Coding help for Neurofeedback

I currently work in small counseling office for behavioral health and we are getting ready to hire a LPC that can offer Neurofeedback. I am curious on what code are we to use. I am being told to use a 90837 and then there is an add on code and a modifier. Any help with this is much appreciated. Thank you

You can use 90837, however the date of service cannot be any other date already included on the eval billing.

NFB is considered the modality for the individual session, so you would code it just like an individual counseling session based on the time spent (90832, 90834, or 90837). If it's Medicaid you'll want to include the appropriate provider modifier for the LPC.
