What cpt code would you bill for a provider giving physician's orders for occupational therapy? The provider did not have a face to face encounter with pt.
 
there is no way to bill for giving orders.. There must have been a face to face encounter at some point where he discussed having occupational therapy involvement and this would add to the complexity of the MDM so it should have been technically charged at that time
